Every device sold by ConnectHub Electronics Limited is covered by a 12-month warranty in addition to your statutory rights as an EU consumer.
1. Warranty Coverage
ConnectHub Electronics Limited warrants each refurbished device against manufacturing defects and component failures arising from normal use for a period of 12 months from the date of delivery.
2. What Is Covered
- Hardware failures (motherboard, screen, battery, camera, speakers).
- Connectivity issues (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, mobile network).
- Software malfunctions not caused by user modification.
- Charging port and battery defects (battery health below stated minimum).
3. What Is Not Covered
- Accidental damage (drops, liquid spills, cracks).
- Damage caused by misuse, negligence, or unauthorised repair.
- Cosmetic wear and tear consistent with the device's grade.
- Loss of data (please back up before sending in for repair).
- Devices that have been jailbroken, rooted, or modified.
- Lost or stolen devices.
4. Battery Performance
Refurbished batteries are guaranteed to start at 85% or higher health at the point of dispatch. Battery degradation is a natural process and is only covered under warranty if capacity falls below acceptable levels due to defect (not normal use).
5. Statutory Rights
This commercial warranty is provided in addition to and does not affect your statutory consumer rights under:
- Irish Sale of Goods and Supply of Services Act 1980
- EU Consumer Sales and Guarantees Directive (1999/44/EC)
- EU Directive on certain aspects concerning contracts for the sale of goods (2019/771)
6. Making a Warranty Claim
- Email [email protected] describing the issue.
- Include your order number, device IMEI, and clear description (with photos/videos if applicable).
- We will issue a Return Merchandise Authorisation (RMA) and prepaid return label.
- Send the device using the provided label within 14 days.
- We will diagnose, repair, or replace within 10 working days of receipt.
7. Resolution Options
For valid warranty claims, we will at our discretion:
- Repair the device free of charge, or
- Replace it with an equivalent or superior model, or
- Provide a full refund where repair or replacement is not possible.
