Under EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU), you have a 14-day right of withdrawal. Under Irish Sale of Goods Act 1980, you also have rights regarding goods that are not of merchantable quality.
1. 14-Day Right of Withdrawal
As an EU consumer, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving your device, without giving any reason. To exercise this right:
- Notify us in writing within 14 days of delivery (email to [email protected]).
- Return the product within 14 days of notification.
- Include the original packaging and all accessories.
2. Refund Processing
We will refund the full purchase price (including standard delivery costs) within 14 days of receiving the returned product, using the same payment method used for the original transaction. The refund will be processed without undue delay and at no cost to you.
3. Condition of Returned Items
You are entitled to inspect the goods as you would in a physical shop. However, you may be liable for any diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods.
4. Defective or Faulty Goods
If your device is defective on arrival or develops a fault within the 12-month warranty period, you are entitled to:
- A free repair, or
- A free replacement, or
- A full refund (where repair or replacement is not possible).
Please contact us within 7 days of discovering any defect.
5. How to Return Your Device
- Email [email protected] with your order number and reason for return.
- You will receive a Return Merchandise Authorisation (RMA) number and return instructions.
- Pack the device securely in its original packaging with all accessories.
- Ship the parcel to the return address provided (we recommend using a tracked service).
- Once received and inspected, your refund will be processed.
6. Return Shipping Costs
For withdrawal under the 14-day cooling-off period, you are responsible for return shipping costs. For defective goods or warranty claims, ConnectHub Electronics will cover return shipping costs.
7. Items That Cannot Be Returned
Due to hygiene and security reasons, we cannot accept returns of:
- Devices that have been physically damaged after delivery.
- Devices that have had Activation Lock / FRP locks applied by the customer that cannot be removed.
- Personalised or customised products.
